18ct Yellow Gold Vermeil Silver Ring Set with Natural Sliced Diamond

This traditional Japanese Aesthetic, Wabi-Sabi inspired ring features sliced natural diamond set in 18ct yellow gold vermeil on solid sterling silver. This ring is beautifully handcrafted using 100% recycled gold vermeil and solid sterling silver. Gold, of at least 2.5 microns, is beautifully layered on top of sterling silver to create a finish five times thicker than average gold plating, and more durable. The whole ring measures approximately (L)5 mm x (W)11.6 mm x (H)24.2 mm. The top part where diamond set measures approximately (L) 5 mm x (W) 11.6 mm x (H) 3.9 mm and the thickness of the ring shank is 2.1 mm. Wabi-Sabi is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. In Wabi-Sabi philosophy, there are several aesthetic principals in achieving Wabi-Sabi such as Shibumi; finding beauty in the understated, Kanso; simplicity, and Fukinsei; assymetry or irregularity.
